How to work out a Double Bet
Let's illustrate a win Double Calculator example with 2 football selections, a £10 stake, and fractional odds:
Selections:
Sel 1: Manchester City to win: Odds 1/1 (Win)
Sel 2: Arsenal to win: Odds 2/1 (Win)
How Returns are Calculated:
1. Selection 1 (Man City wins): Your initial £10 stake is multiplied by Sel 1's odds (1/1): £10 x (1/1 + 1) = £10 x 2 = £20.00 (This is your new stake for Sel 2)
Selection 2 (Arsenal wins): The £20.00 from Sel 1 is now multiplied by Sel 2's odds (2/1): £20.00 x (2/1 + 1) = £20.00 x 3 = £60.00
Total Stake: £10.00
Total Return: £60.00
Total Profit: £60.00 - £10.00 = £50.00
What if one selection loses? If Manchester City had lost, the entire Double bet would be lost, and your £10 stake would be gone. This highlights the all-or-nothing nature of a win double.
